Sometimes less really is more! I decided to change it up this week by using a 4.5"x6.5" photo album using Craftastic Cabin's May 2021 Scrapbooking Subscription Box products.
May's subscription box was loaded with inspiration. The box has everything from Journal tidbits, decorative brads, gems, chipboard stickers, and so much more. All of the items used were included in May’s subscription box.
Let’s dive in!
On the first page above, I used a 4x6 photo with the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection kit double-sided paper. The tag I embellished with a decorative brad from the included Simple Stories Brad sheet. Finishing it off with a luggage sticker and “Let’s Go” sticker from the Element sheet.
For the 2nd page, I trimmed down my 4x6 photo to 4x5 using the same patterned paper behind it. Washi tape from the box along the side, with blue gems from the kit on top. I added the tag from the Journal bits which I layered with a white piece and 2 decorative brads from the Simple Stories Brad sheet.
For page 3, I cut down the 4x6 photo to 3.5 x 4 in order to focus on my daughter and not so much of the extra van space. More room for embellishments!
I used the background taxi paper, a tag that I die-cut myself with a decorative brad on top. The large circle came from the Journal tidbits and the car came from the chipboard stickers.
For Page 4, I had to trim down the photo from 4x6 to 4x5 ¼. I used polka dot washi tape from the box. Two of the chipboard stickers, the luggage, and the globe.
For Page 5, I started with the airplane background paper. The photo had to be cut down from 4x6 to 4x5. I used a flower and airplane chipboard sticker from the journal tidbits. One brad from the collection. The tag and “Take me away with you” are from the journal tidbits.
Challenging yourself with different-sized paper is a gratifying! It forces us to create in a new way and to simplify yet show such a grand story! See you next week as I continue creating this album!
